You Choose Recruit believe that it is important to support and give back to our community. We have been involved in various projects that are close to our heart. Below are a few of the projects we have assisted with.
Esibusisweni Creche and Orphanage in the Valley of a Thousand Hills
Esibusisweni Creche and Orphanage is an establishment set in the Valley of a Thousand Hills in Kwa-Zulu Natal. There are currently eight orphans’, ages ranging from three months to eighteen years. The facilities are less than ideal and the whole organisation is in dire need of some assistance from absolutely anyone who is willing. Mrs Dlamini, the Gogo (granny) who owns the land, runs both the orphanage and the school. The crèche has fifty-two registered children and only one rondawel as their building.
Mhlengi’s Party
YCR hold a party every year for a boy whose mother, Nonhlanhla, is a quadriplegic at Hillcrest Hospital, (Chronic care). His mom worked at Spar in Botha’s Hill as a security guard and was shot during a robbery. Michelle met her years ago at the Hospital when she was visiting and the boy, Mhlengi, is the same age as Michelle’s son and he now lives with his grandparents in Cato Ridge.
